Chicken curry

chicken curry recipe
Delicious chicken curry


Ingredients:
  • 800 grams of chicken cut into pieces
  • 3 medium sized potatoes peeled and cut into large
  • a tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 cinnamon pieces the size of a finger
  • 6 lime leaves
  • 1 piece of pandan leaf
  • salt
  • sugar
  • 150 ml coconut milk
  • water
  • oil for frying
  • 1 piece of lemongrass
  • 4 cm ginger
  • 6 pieces of cloves

Ground spices:


4 shallots
2 pieces of garlic 
tablespoon of coriander powder  
teaspoon pepper 
1 tablespoon massala or curry powder
2 red chilies 
2 bay leaves
quarter teaspoon cumin



Directions :
  • Marinate the chicken with lemon juice and let stand 10 minutes then wash
  • Saute all ingredients until fragrant, add the ginger, cinnamon, pandan leaves, orange leaves, cloves, mix well and enter the chicken and potatoes give enough water.
  • Cook until chicken and potatoes are tender.
  • Enter coconut milk when the chicken was not overcooked
  • Add salt and sugar.
  • Add chicken coconut milk today and potatoes are tender, stir and lift the short correction flavor.
  • The chicken curry is ready to be served with or without rice.
  • Sprinkle fried shallots as a complement, prawn crackers and fresh cucumber.
