sambal goreng daging recipe, spicy beef with potatoes recipe |
Ingredients :
- 400 gram beef cut into a slices
- 300 gram potatoes ccut into a cubes
- 2 bay leaves
- 400 ml water
- 1 lemongrass
- 100 ml thick coconut milk
- 3 tablespoon tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Grind the following into spice paste:
4 shallots / 1 big onion
5 cloves
1 red chilli
3 cm galangal
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon candlenuts paste
1 teaspoon white pepper
2 cm schrimp paste
Directions:
- Place beef in the pan and cook in the water until beef is tender
- Drain and set the beef aside
- Heat oil in a frying pan and saute potatoes cube until golden brown
- Remove potatoes from the frying pan set aside
- Heat oil in a frying pan add spice paste, lemongrass, galangal and bay leaves
- Cook until fragrant
- Add beef, water and half from the thick coconut milk, add sugar, salt and tomatoes sauce.
- Mix well and bring to a boil and sauce has reduced and thickened.
- Add the fried potatoed and the rest from the thick coconut milk. Mix well. cook about 5 minutes.
- Ready to be served
